Local score processing

MusicXML files are read and rendered in your browser. Their contents, filenames, titles, composers, parts, and note sequences are not sent to analytics.

Self-hosted analytics

We use our own Umami installation to understand whether pages work, which connection mode is selected, and where normalized technical errors occur. The tracker has no advertising cookies and is loaded only after your choice.

Anonymous statistics we may record

• Page paths without search parameters or URL fragments.
• Coarse browser, operating system, device category, language, and theme statistics.
• Aggregate setup and training events with predefined values.
• Loading performance and normalized error codes without exception text.

What is never sent

• Score files, filenames, titles, composers, or MusicXML contents.
• Played notes, note sequences, timing of individual presses, or keyboard mappings.
• MIDI messages, device names, serial numbers, USB identifiers, or Device Hub tokens.
• Names, email addresses, accounts, or an analytics user ID.

Your choice

Analytics is disabled until you allow it. Use the shield button in the lower-left corner on any page to change your choice.

Storage

Analytics is stored in a private PostgreSQL database controlled by the project owner. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. A verified deletion schedule will be configured before production collection begins.
